The team at Downes were very helpful with an incident my son had with a curb. They inspected the car for free and then, during the subsequent wheel alignment, helped us to find high quality used tires to replaced at tire that was damaged. Great communication, fair pricing, honest advice. Glad to find a trustworthy local shop

I have had my vehicle repaired at Downes automotive a few times and these guys are honest and amazing at what they do. I had the pleasure of dealing with Josh and Trevor they are both amazing at customer service, I feel that Josh went above and beyond. Took my 2018 ford f150 to the dealership I bought the truck from they couldn’t find the leak or fix it. Took it to Downs automotive. They found a leak right away, fixed it doesn’t leak a drop. Awesome service highly recommend. Now I can enjoy my camping

After breaking down in Maple Ridge on the way home to Edmonton, not only was Downe’s the shop that could get me in the fastest, but they were able to look at it immediately upon getting it towed to the shop. Josh was sympathetic, knowledgeable, and friendly. He offered me a number of options, and even though I did not end up getting any actual work done here, my experience with Downe’s was one of the best I’ve ever had with a mechanic.

Excellent service and value! Josh was very professional and confident in his diagnosis. He replaced suspension/steering components and also identified a worn out torque mount. Vehicle is running so much smoother now. Walked me through required maintenance and made recommendations on what should be looked at/serviced in the future. Reception was fast, efficient and courteous.

I stopped by with my Mom's vehicle to get a quick check on a few issues I had noticed when I was driving her car. Josh was very accommodating and quickly zeroed in on what was happening. There is some work to be done but he was able assure me that the car is safe to drive and he took the time to show me what was needed and why. He provided quotes for me to take back and discuss with my Mom so we can look to get everything completed soon. The young lady at the front desk was also absolutely wonderful and gathered everything needed so I can assist my Mom in getting her car back in tiptop condition. I was very impressed with the friendly, informative service and will definitely be referring others to this garage.
